ARYZTA pursues comprehensive internal safety management procedures including policy manuals, verification of regulatory compliance, risk assessments, individual site action plans, safety audits, training, formal accident investigation and the provision of occupational health services. ARYZTA also maintains a strong focus on the use of key performance indicators, external, auditing and achieving exacting external health and safety accreditation for operations.

Policies & Guidelines
Global Employee Code of Conduct, signed by every employee, includes:
- ARYZTA’s Non-Discrimination Policy
- Guarantee of Freedom of Association
- Anti-Bribery & Corruption Policies
- All operations are assessed for risks related to corruption
- Conducted training with mid- and senior-level employees on anti-corruption policies and there are no incidents that have occurred
- ARYZTA’s Whistleblower Program
- Prohibition of forced or slave labor
- Political involvement policy
- ARYZTA makes no contributions to any political party or affiliation
- Employees are trained on human rights policies, sexual harassment, slavery, anti-corruption and human trafficking and other aspects that are relevant
- ARYZTA has had no grievances regarding human rights in our operations
- ARYZTA has had no legal actions for anti-competitive behavior, anti-trust or monopoly practices. As such, no significant fines have been assessed for non-compliance with any laws or regulations
ARYZTA’s Corporate Health & Safety Policy states that the highest priority is to maintain and exemplify a healthy and safe working environment. It includes:
- Compliance with all applicable health and safety laws, as well as ARYZTA’s often higher company standards
- Ensuring all employees (including temporary workers), contractors, sub-contractors, and visitors are aware of, trained and competent to carry out their safety responsibilities
- Elimination and minimization of risk in the design, operation, and maintenance of our facilities
- Improvement of operations through employee involvement, continual performance measurement, and initiating appropriate corrective and preventative actions where appropriate
- Focus on safe working and actively participating in health and safety improvement efforts
- Demonstration of ARYZTA’s values and commitment to health and safety in communications, planning and business decisions
ARYZTA’s Child Labor Policy covers the following:
- Compliance with all established government regulations and standards
- Recognizes and supports the United Nations “Rights of the Child”
- Prohibits hiring anyone under the age of 15
- These policies apply to temporary employees along with ARYZTA employees

- In compliance with local laws and as a general practice, ARYZTA, endeavors to provide the legal notice required prior to any major operational changes
